Meilleursagents.com will take part in IPEM 2016. In this interview, CEO Sébastien de Lafond tells us why he decided to join us in Cannes on February 17-19, 2016.
“I gather that Cannes in February won´t be the right place for a quick swim in the sea or to spot Sophie Marceau on the Croisette… IPEM´s concept is appealing as it aims at putting together the whole private equity ecosystem, from LPs to funds and private companies. And at an international scale. That should give participants a fairly unique opportunity to grasp market trends and network with the right professionals.
For MeilleursAgents, IPEM shall be a good forum to test non-French investors´ appetite to accompany our future international expansion. MeilleursAgents launched in 2008 and has become the leading source of information on prices and professionals for people buying or selling real estate in France. Our first revenue stream stemmed from commissions paid by agents who had transformed our leads. We are now deploying our media-subscription offering towards the 28,000 French estate agencies and should consider other markets in the future. Going to IPEM in early 2016 should provide us with a perfect platform to explore investors´ interest for our data-centric real-estate marketplace”.
