SecondCap has confirmed its participation to IPEM 2016. CEO of Secondcap Francois Gamblin took some time to answer our questions.
- Why did you choose to participate in IPEM ?
IPEM is the first opportunity to have in one single place the whole Private Equity eco-system including LPs, GPs, companies and advisors. The international network from US and Asia players is also a very attractive proposition. This market is global and it’s exciting being able to network over a few days in multiple asset class such as PE but also infra and real estate.
- What do you expect from IPEM?
As the moderator on the secondary panel, I will be pleased to share experience from the various users of this market and the latest trend.
It will be an opportunity to draw the attention of LPs about liquidity solutions and demonstrate how the secondary market can help them to implement genuine solutions for their portfolio management. For GPs, the secondary market is a strong solution to manage multiple issues for which they are always fully aware.
I expect to further leverage our network and facilitate introductions between GPs and LPs in a very nice place as Cannes.
