RIAM Alternative Investments has confirmed its participation to IPEM 2016. Managing Director Philippe Roesch took the time to answer our questions.
- Why did you choose to participate in IPEM ?
Philippe ROESCH: “RIAM Alternative Investments advises an international and reputable clientele of family offices and institutional investors on their private equity programmes. Those cover different type of investment strategies. As such it is key for us and our clients to constantly follow general developments in the international private equity market and across strategies. To participate to IPEM enables us in a very effective manner and concentrated time investment to update market information, meet with funds managers and mingle with other international investors. Additionally, Cannes is an attractive location and I also liked the VIP invitation concept and meeting arrangement service that clearly simplifies logistics with regard to meetings’ arrangements.”
- What do you expect from IPEM?
Philippe ROESCH: “I expect to have the opportunity to meet with best of class established – and new – funds managers, exchange views and experiences with other investors, especially with regard to those “new” sub-investment strategies like private debt, infrastructure, etc…and more generally get a sense for current market trends and challenges. Our market success has been and will remain closely linked to our ability to provide our clients with a truly neutral and high quality advisory service. A profound market know-how, product expertise and high quality networks are pre-requite for this. Besides this, we are also always on the look with regard to secondary buy and co-investment opportunities that might be initiated through meetings, discussions and contacts on site.”
