Why did you choose to participate in the IPEM?
“Private Equity is becoming increasingly diverse and international. There are many international conferences but none of them truly covers the entire value chain of Private Equity. I like the idea of people from all over the world and from all disciplines of alternative investments (buyout, debt, infrastructure) congregating in one place to work (and also have some fun) for three days. Cannes is a great location and the Palais de Festival and the concept of the market place will provide for fantastic working conditions!”
What do you expect from the IPEM?
“As independent asset managers we are always looking for new talent and new investment themes. I expect to see a good mix of established and new funds at the IPEM. As to my LPs, I hope to be able to team up with not only existing investors but also to identify opportunities to widen my investor base. The VIP invitation program and the meeting arrangement service are an excellent concept and will ensure a good level of attendance. I also expect updates and insights on the state of the industry, investment trends and the regulatory environment. In summary – I expect efficiency in the form of targeted meetings, new business, new ideas, less travel time!”
